The short version: Pro is a one-time \$29 payment covering 12 months. We email you a renewal link before it expires — we never charge you automatically. Request within 14 days for a full refund, or later for a pro-rated refund by unused months.
How refunds work
| Situation | What you get |
|---|---|
| Request within 14 days of paying | Full refund |
| Request after 14 days | Pro-rated refund by unused months |
| Service outage lasting more than 48 hours | Pro-rated refund for the affected days, on request |
| FeedWatch discontinued or a paid feature is removed | Pro-rated refund of the unused remainder |
How to request one
- Email us from the address you used to sign up, or open an issue on GitHub.
- Tell us which account and roughly when the charge landed.
- We reply within 2 business days with the amount and the payout method.
What we need from you
- The email address on the account
- The last 4 digits of the payment method, or the transaction ID
We never ask for your full card number or your API key.
Timing and method
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Cryptocurrency payouts go back to the originating wallet address.
- Depending on your payment provider, the money takes 5–10 business days to appear on your statement. We cannot make it faster — that timing is set upstream.
Refunds are returned in the currency you paid in. We do not convert, and we cannot cover currency-conversion losses your bank may apply.
Non-refundable cases
To be straightforward about the exceptions:
- The free tier — there is nothing to refund.
- Requests made more than 90 days after the charge.
- Abuse and fraud — for example, using the service to resell access or to attack third-party systems.
One thing you should know up front
Monitors are currently held in memory, so restarting the service clears them. That means a restart during your billing period can cost you the monitors you configured — we will pro-rate a refund if that happens, but it is better to know now than after you have built something around a monitor.
Persistent storage is on the roadmap for the next version.
Changes to this policy
Any change will be posted on this page with an updated date. We will not apply changes retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
